significant increase. Upon surpassing 32g/t of BK386, the
Mo recovery stabilizes. The results suggest that a dosage of
32g/t BK386 is optimal for rougher flotation.
Effect of Depressant Types on Cleaning
The flowchart depicted in Figure 6 was utilized to con-
duct a test on different depressant types to evaluate their
impact on Cu concentrate. For this experiment, we selected
sodium silicate(200g/t), lime(300g/t), and a combination
of sodium silicate(200g/t) and lime(100g/t) as depressants.
The results are presented in Figure 7. These results indicate
that, compared to not adding a depressant, the addition of
lime or sodium silicate can enhance the copper grade in
the concentrate, with lime alone yielding the highest cop-
per grade. Consequently, lime is selected as the preferred
depressant.
Effect of Re-Grinding Fineness on Cleaning
The flowchart shown in Figure 8 is used to examine the
effect of re-grinding fineness on the grade of Cu in the con-
centrate, in which the amount of lime added in Cleaning 1
is 300g/t.
The results in Figure 9 show that re-grinding the
rougher concentrate can significantly improve the Cu grade
of the concentrate. As the re-grinding fineness increases,
the Cu grade also increases. When the particle size distribu-
tion exceeds 88% passing through 45 μm, the Cu grade of
the concentrate have stabilized. Therefore, the appropriate
re-grinding fineness is –45 μm acczounting for 88%.
