Leaching Experiments
Leaching experiments were performed as a batch process
in a glass reactor that was mechanically stirred at 300 rpm.
The tests were carried out with a solid-to-liquid ratio of
0.1:10, ensuring that external mass transfer is not the rate-
controlling step. The temperatures at which the test was
carried out were 60 °C, 70°, 80°C and 90 °C. 2 mL of the
pregnant solution was withdrawn periodically, filtered,
diluted with nitric acid (5%), and submitted for ICP/MS
