half of those showing an increase in grade and the other
showing a decrease in grade. The increase in both grade
and recovery indicate a shift at grade-recovery curve is pos-
sible for certain testing conditions. One data point shows
a decrease in grade while showing a slight drop in recov-
ery. This may indicate a drop in the grade-recovery curve
in which operating conditions are not optimized... Plotted
pair-points are shown in Figure 8.
Comparison of grade-recovery results with a low rotor
speed show an improvement in recovery for all data points
with only one showing a decrease in grade. With a mid-
rotor speed the comparisons show a trend closer to zero
point (no change) but does allow the greatest improvement
in grade or recovery. The only substantial negative recov-
ery data point was in the intermediate mid rotor speed
group but did result in the most positive grade change.
The high rotor speed resulted in little recovery difference.
When comparing the trends between low, mid, and high
rotor speeds, it indicates that as speeds are decreased there
is a shift in the grade recovery curve resulting in higher Figure 7. FloatForce+ vs FloatForce bulk copper recovery
