Minerals in Agriculture. This multi-faceted approach seeks
to raise awareness about the importance of mining in Peru’s
economic, environmental, and social development, ulti-

INTRODUCTION
In this complex and dynamic society that faces socioeco-
nomic, environmental and cultural challenges and prob-
lems that directly influence people’s lives. In this context,
it is essential to explore and understand social problems to
effectively address and build a more equitable and sustain-
able environment. Due to these situations, social projects
are carried out that address specific problems or needs
within a society (Tavira &Herrera-Tapia, 2016).
Sustainable mining practices aim to minimize envi-
ronmental impact while maximizing social and economic
benefits. Social awareness is crucial for encouraging the
adoption of sustainable practices in the mining industry.
(Li &Zou, 2024)
Taking a brief tour of some successful social projects
where children and adolescents are involved is the Pabellón
Minero Infantil that from 2014 to the present has man-
aged to impact 25 thousand primary school students. This
project consists of taking a tour of an underground mine,
talking about mining, safety standards, glass manufacturing
and mineral recognition. (Santoyo, 2023).
By educating the public on sustainable mining prac-
tices and the importance of ethical sourcing, individuals
and organizations can influence market trends and shape
consumer behavior (Rasoulinezhad, 2023 Pouresmaieli et
al., 2023).
