The footprint was designed for the connection with a plug-
gable terminal block, which was in turn connected with
the output of high voltage cables. The width of the board is
210 mm and the length of each electrode is 200 mm. The
width and gap between electrodes are 1 mm. A wider board
can generate a more uniform electric field in the central
region. The schematic diagram of the final design is illus-
trated in Figure 3.
