3070 XXXI International Mineral Processing Congress 2024 Proceedings/Washington, DC/Sep 29–Oct 3
Chemical laboratory results:
Comparing the analyzed results of the plant’s daily com-
position by the chemical laboratory, there were 25 avail-
able data points, and 3 data points were removed from the
PAX dataset to equalize the plant feed grades. Therefore,
with 95% statistical confidence, the analyzed feed grades
are equivalent for days with Aerophine (4.43 ppm) and for
PAX (4.40 ppm), as shown in Figure 15. The gold grade
in the final concentrate showed a significant increase with
Aerophine, rising from 295 ppm to 462 ppm, as did the
silver grade, which increased from 681 ppm to 949 ppm,
and Te, from 1.12% to 1.96%. The reduction in mass pull
with Aerophine was 30% lower, decreasing from 0.96% to
0.68%. The increase in gold recovery was from 71.9% to
75.6%, as shown in Figure 16. Similarly, the silver recovery
increased from 60.2% to 64.9%.
December 10, 2023 to December 29, 2023
On-stream results:
The testing campaign conducted in December aimed
to evaluate campaign processing of the Åkulla Kankberg
ore with massive sulphide content. The evaluation was
