Au content in Imhoflot tails is about 0.34 g/t Au. In
contrast, a concentrate in the laboratory mechanical
cell has 1.4 g/t Au at a recovery of only 10.7% which
is much lower than the pneumatic Imhoflot cell.
Also, the final tailings from Imhoflot G-Cell is about
0.34 g/t and 0.38 g/t Au content from the mechani-
cal lab cell. Generally, the lab test results might not
be achieved in a full-size mechanical plant cell. Note
that the pilot plant has only two cells in series, the
Au recovery will be increased with more pneumatic
cells (increase the residence time). In other words,
with more cells the gold content in the tailings will
be reduced further, thus a higher Au recovery.
Cleaner: an excellent concentrate grade with an aver-
age of 31.32 g/t. It is much higher than the current
concentrate grade obtained from existing conven-
tional tank cells. With only two G-Cells (very short
residence time, total of only about 3 min), a very
