constraints that cannot be solved with flotation alone.
As such, a mineralogical investigation was carried out on
the samples of HGT-4, which are presented in the next
paragraph.
For the low-grade tailings stream, the addition of froth
washing only has a superficial impact on the metallurgical
performance. The kinetics are greatly slowed, but the cop-
per grades and recoveries and the selectivity against silica
follow the same curve, indicating that the essence of the
flotation itself was not modified.
Mineralogical constraints on the performance of the
Concorde Cell
As aforementioned, considering that chalcocite contains
79.8% copper, the grade obtained on the different tailings
stream could be expected to go higher, while in this test
