pull, iron recovery, zinc activation and the recovery
of valuable metals from similar polymetallic miner-
als or in a condition in which they can be equalized
with a small modification of the collector or foaming
agent to stabilize results.
In a comparative test of BRD and zinc sulfate, with-
out the addition of sodium cyanide as a depressant, it
was determined that the depression capacity of zinc
sulfides is greater when BRD400 is used, confirming
that it has a better capacity to depress zinc sulfides at
a much lower dose.
Also, we encountered that the application of BRD
will reduce almost simultaneously the dosage of cop-
per sulfate (CuSO4) used in the activation of zinc on
the zinc flotation stage, because it is not necessary
to use the same volume doses to obtain the proper
activation of zinc, generating additional and much
greater savings on the operation.

tion for our environment, mining and making all this test
results possible.
