2478 XXXI International Mineral Processing Congress 2024 Proceedings/Washington, DC/Sep 29–Oct 3
of July and August 2023 prior to the use of the Oreprep
T-100 foaming‑ reagent (only with MIBC) and while using
it. During the in-plant test it was considered an effective
treatment of the SAG mill greater than 4000 t/h, a dose of
MX-8522 primary collector of 14 g/t, Diesel secondary col-
lector of 20 g/t, MIBC of 3 g/t of ore, and a dose of T-100
of 3 g/t added in DI-001 that feeds the two rougher flota-
tion lines, Figure 3. In addition, the rougher and cleaner
pH were maintained at standard values 9 and 11 respec-
tively to ensure the transformation of the T-100 to light
alcohol in the cleaning stage.
During the evaluation, the mineral grade variables
were monitored online from the Courier system, drawer
levels, and the average data every 1 hour of the feed, tail and
rougher concentrate flows were considered for the recov-
ery calculation. The reagent was dosed using Prominent
