From Figure 4 there can be several correlations established
for washability analysis:
clean coal cumulative yield versus cumulative ash (A)
sink/reject curve cumulative yield and ash of the
rejects at each density of separation (B)
near gravity within 0.1 specific gravity range of sep-
aration amount of coal material within this range
indicating presence of middlings or possibility of
material being displaced during the separation (D)
correlation between the SG and cumulative yield of
coal at each density of separation (C)
