state since the introduction of hydrogen peroxide in the
strip solution. The current distribution trends strongly
suggest that 100% of the thorium and greater than 95%
of the titanium will report to the ThE circuit strip liquor.
Furthermore, it is likely that an additional 10% of the nio-
bium will also report to the strip liquor. It should be noted
that titanium and niobium concentrations are at least one
order of magnitude lower than that of thorium and three
order of magnitude lower than that of iron. No other ele-
ments of significance have been measured in the loaded
organic.
Iron Recovery (TBP) Circuit
The demonstration iron recovery unit is comprised of four
stages of extraction, four stages of scrubbing and four stages
of stripping. Key operating parameters of the Iron Recovery
Circuit are presented as Table 2.

cuit per product stream is presented as Figure 14.
